Good quality leather will last a lifetime. Depending on the type of leather, your couch will show varying levels of UV resistance.
It is advisable to use your semi-aniline type leathers with better UV resistance in areas with lots of direct sunlight, rather than the full aniline or oil pull-up type leathers. The same goes for stain resistance. Semi-aniline leather has an extra protection layer and extra silicone scotchgard layer which makes it more suitable for high traffic areas such as restaurants.
Any food or drink spilled on your couch should be wiped off with a wet cloth. Treating your couch every 3 to 6 months with the leather food supplied by Incanda will prolong its lifespan. If your couch shows signs of fading due to direct sunlight it can be touched up with liquid leather dye, but since this is a specialised operation it should be done at the factory.
